About Science Center

Iwakuni City Science Center was established in 1960. Since then, it has continued to provide a diverse range of activities including science classes and clubs, youth science festivals, and free distribution of live bell crickets, serving as a well-loved facility for supporting children’s scientific education. In April 2026, Iwakuni City Science Center was relocated and re-opened in the new facility “Living and Learning Exchange Terrace (Ikoi to Manabi no Koryu Terrace).”
